If you need to cancel or change classes, you MUST contact us 72 hours prior to the class you have paid for in order to be eligible for a refund or credit transfer. After that mark, your payment will be forfeited.

Studio 212 also loves to teach art classes for kids.  We offer classes in various medias. Scroll down for a few of our upcoming classes...

After you have signed your child up for one of our semester long classes, please make sure that you click on ALL FOUR of the following links in order to make sure that they are properly registered for class. You must complete these registration forms in order for your child to be admitted on the first day of class. If you have any questions, please feel free to email them to jenn@studio212arts.com

Closing Art Show will be held for all classes on Friday, Jan 22nd.

We have gone to online learning for all semester classes until April 24th, per the recommendations of the CDC and the decisions made by Maryville City Schools. If you have signed up for a semester class with us, you DO NOT need to select a box below, you will automatically receive a box in place of your onsite classes. 

All students signed up for semester classes will receive email instructions for when to pick up your boxes and how this online learning will work. Please watch your emails for further information.

Round Robin Art Class

In this new semester class, participants will get the chance to explore multiple mediums in order to find what they love. Over the five month semester students will spend several weeks each in all of the subjects below; in the order listed. 

Paint with Allison Payne - Students will be introduced to new painting techniques and styles inspired by various famous artists. They will leave with a greater understanding of proper brushstrokes, color theory and composition, and a new sense of their own painting styles. 

Drawing with Marilyn Dwyer - A fun approach to drawing! With the basic elements of art as a guide, we will explore several artists work and use a variety of materials. Lots of self- expression!

Clay Handbuilding with Leanne McQueen - In this portion of the class, students will focus on creating fun projects using handbuilding techniques such as coiling, pinching, and slab work. 

Clay Throwing with Leanne McQueen - This class will introduce the pottery wheel and techniques for making successful functional wares.

Spring Kid's Art

No cotton balls or Popsicle sticks here, this class is geared towards teaching children the fundamentals of art.  From color theory,  composition, line and shading, this class will develop skills in art and encourage creative problem solving. From painting to printmaking this class will explore different medias.

Spring Teen Painting

Instructor: Allison Payne

This beginners course is full of diverse exploration in painting. We will start the semester with basic painting techniques regarding value, brushwork, color theory and composition, and then jump into various painting projects that will put our techniques to the test.

Spring Kid's Clay

Instructor: Leanne McQueen

​In this semester long class, students will create fun projects using hand building techniques such as coiling, pinching, and slab work while building upon skills.  Each Class is unique and small in size. Students can focus on growing as an artist with lots of personal attention from instructor.  Students  make a great variety of bowls, dishes, containers and sculptural art pieces,while being guided step-by-step through all the processes from making a pot to decorating, glazing and firing. Class includes clay and all firing and glaze materials included.

Intermediate Teen Clay

Instructor: Leanne McQueen

This class is a fun and total hands-on foundation course on throwing on the wheel.  Students will be guided in a step- by- step process and will learn how to center, pull a pot, and trim.  Students will learn to throw various shapes, leading to successful bowls, mugs, cups, vases etc. to take home to their families to enjoy. Clay and all firing and glaze materials included
