Join in on and afternoon of decorating flower pots! In this class, your instructor will provide three small flower pots and drip plates, and guide you in using the sgraffito technique to carve them.

Letter Bowls

In this underglaze workshop students will learn how to paint vibrant designs onto leather hard pottery. The instructor will guide you through placement, stroke quality, and design in order to create beautifully unique and brightly colored bowls. Students will each receive 2 leather hard bowls on which to paint their designs.

Dining Table Accessories

Set the table for the upcoming holiday season with serving pieces and napkin accessories! In this class, students will be learning handbuilding techniques in order to make two olive boats, as well as a choice of either a napkin holder or napkin rings. You will use texture to create interesting detail in your pieces.

Bathroom Accessories

Succulent Planters

Fantasy Creatures
Instructor: Jessica Bledsoe
Come join us for some hand building fun. We will design and create your favorite fantasy creatures, be they dragons, fairies, unicorns, mermaids, or whatever you can dream up! Students will learn how to create a paper armature of your creature to add stability. They will also learn how to manipulate the clay to create interesting textures in order to decorate your form.

Slab Building
Instructor: Jessica Bledsoe
In this class students will learn several hand building methods to build functional pottery. Methods include slab, slump, pinch, and coil. Students will also learn how to texturize their piece for an interesting design aesthetic. Students can expect to make at least one tray and one bowl.

Pet Plate Sgraffitto
Instructor: Jessica Bledsoe
Students will be given a small leather hard, slab built dessert plate. You will learn how to create a favorite image of your pet through exploring sgraffitto techniques. Students will need to bring a Xerox print, no larger than 4in x 4in of your pet to transfer the image to the plate. All other materials are included.

Sgraffitto
Instructor: Jessica Bledsoe
In this class students will receive a small leatherhard cylinder and bowl which they will use to explore this technique. They will learn how to create designs in their chosen pieces using underglazes and sgraffitto techniques. All materials are provided, however, students should come to class prepared with ideas and example images of what they may want to create on their pieces.

Owl Pinch Pots
Instructor: Jessica Bledsoe
Join us for an afternoon of fun at Studio 212! This class is a perfect family outing where you will learn handbuilding techniques to create your own sweet owl. You'll learn to build and support the body, as well as work with different tools to create texture and dimension on your pieces. This class is a great introduction on learning how to sculpt animals.

Keepsake Impressions
In this session you will take a single hand or foot impression for Mom to forever cherish. After the impression is made, you may choose to decorate or have our staff help you decorate the plaque. Finished products will be ready to be picked up May 6th-8th just in time for Mother's Day!

Sessions are in 20 min increments for 1 or 2 children at a time.
