Come create a whimsical land of floral, fauna, and multiple animals that can be outdoor sculptures for the garden, or inside works of art. Students will combine basic handbuilding techniques of pinch pot, coil and slab to make their creations. Pieces will be glazed on the last day of class and be ready to pick up 2 weeks later.
Camp runs Tuesday through Friday 9am-12pm. Clay camps do not have an art show, as all pieces need to be fired after camp concludes. Once they've made it through the kiln firing process, your student's pieces will be photographed for a digital art show that you can share with friends and family.
The clay camp fee covers all materials including 25 pounds of clay, underglaze and glaze materials, bisque firing, and glaze firing.
