In this class students will create their very own aquatic yard totem over the course of 4 sessions. The first three sessions will be dedicated to creating the pieces, giving them shape and texture through a variety of handbuilding tools and techniques. Students will be able to customize their totem by choosing what types of aquatic pieces to create. The final session will consist of glazing your fired pieces. Once your pieces are through the glaze firing process, they will be ready to pick up. At pick up, you will receive a piece of rebar on which you will assemble your totem.
 
Class dates are August 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th.
 
Minimum age to participate in this class is 12 years old when accompanied by a participating adult; Students must be at least 16 years old to participate without an adult.
